My Sonie memory
I served on the Board of Rockville Musical Theatre with Sonie for two years, and one of my favorite memories about him was at a one of the meetings when he had just come from his classes at BlackRock. I asked him how his day had been and he said very casually that he had spent most of the day building a DeLorean. Seeing the look on my face, he explained that he had written his own musical version of Back to the Future for his students to perform. What a fun, wonderful, creative way to get kids excited about performing! I could tell how excited Sonie was about doing this, and how much heart and soul he had put into making his class so memorable for his students. You could tell how much he cared about them. I wish I could have seen the final performance

Sonie I'll never forget you
Sonie, I'll never forget you. You were one of the most amazing people I have ever known. A genuinely good person with a big heart. I just can't believe you are gone. I can still remember your laugh which was contagious. You did what you loved and are an inspiration to me. I have many bond memories of us laughing as we watch movies, tv shows, and play video games. I was so lucky to have had you as a Best Man. Everyone was just drawn to you and your amazing personality. You really were a star. Unfortunately, it seems that stars that burn twice as bright burn half as long. Love you brother! Goodbye my friend and be at peace!

Early Memories
My earliest memory of Sonie is when I first met him. I remember I was introduced to Sonie when were both very young. I was introduced to Sonie and I remember telling him.. oh like the Sony tv. And I remember how he shook his head and let me know how he’s heard that many times. I remember how contagious his smile was. He was such a happy guy. I am sending my prayers to his family and friends. He surely will be missed. #RIP

Missing you
Since high school you have been a joy. I love our battle between cultural foods I put you on to jerk chicken and you put me on to butter chicken. Though we were not always in touch, we never lost touch and would always reconnect. Just of late we said we needed to catch back up. will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Love you my friend Rest forever in Peace.

Memory
I remember shows with Sonie. In high school, during Man of La Mancha and South Pacific he was always so lively and happy. Years later, we were in Honk together and his bubbly personality was as energetic as ever. He was a true joy to be around.

A sweet soul
The irrepressible smile, the big heart and the many chats we had will be missed. His enthusiasm and talent for the stage used to make the church community talent shows so much better. He embodies the saying "it's not length of life, but depth of life". Rest in Peace

Video games and comics
I was first introduced at a young age to X-men because of Sonie chachen. Being one of his nephews, I would join the others in waking up Sonie chachen early mornings when we would visit and ask to play video games. No matter how annoyed he was, he always had a loving heart. Will miss him dearly. Love you, Sonie chach.

Discussion about special kids
When I use to go to church and see Sonie, we always talked about my son Jacob who is a special needs boy. We talked about acting, music and theater for Jacob. He was always happy to discuss about Jacob. Going to miss him. Saji
